I own a 89 Plymouth sundance RS 2.5 turbo stock as stock gets. And i was coming outta town on to the highway well my buddy in a 2008 Mustang GT brand new figured he could smoke my car in a race. Well as soon as we got around the on ramp he floored it and smoked the tires. Well as soon as i saw his nose come up. I put it right to the floor i went from 1900 RPM to 4600 RPM in about 5 seconds and my boost gauge Snapped from 5 pounds to 15 and I was gone like a bat outta hell. I finally decided to let out when I hit 190 KPH. We got to his house he looks and says " I'm selling the car".

Well what do expect out of a 4000 lb car that has a 315 hp V8?

I think your buddy needs to learn how to drive. Despite being so heavy, they can still run mid 13's in the hands of a good driver.

Off a cliff with the back seat removed.

I would say more would run HIGH 13s and mid 14s, but there are those that dip into the mid 13s from time to time, but this is exception, not the rule.

And I was joking about the 4000lb as they are lighter than that, but still a 315hp V8 is weak these days.
