How much boost? I'd say 13.9-14.2 on street tires, slick=12.9
Good luck.

Cindy's stage 5 cal is 18psi. I wouldn't mind a 13.9!! That'd be sweet.

I just ran this past weekend and ran 13.4 @ 100 with a 1.8 60ft on slicks and 16psi. I hate the stage 5 from FWD and I am taking it out this week. Its a tuning nitemare and no matter what I have changed it still runs like blahh.
I am going back to the simple setup, big inj, fmu, and a stage 2 MP performance unit.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE STAGE 5, YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK TWICE.
If 13.9 is your goal you can do it on stco electronics all day long.

...maybe someone should of contacted FWDP about their cal, and see what they can do to fix the problem instead of just bashing their products. cindy goes way further then most do to help fix a problem with her products

WHOA, Thats not what Im doing, Im just stating in reality if he is happy with a 13.9 pass he dont need the headaches of tring to tune the stage 5 cal
I rarely drive my car on the street as its too nice and it only sees the track on occassion. I have no complaints on the stage 5 and or FWD service, I have had some issues with the unit as many many many others on this board, ( do a search ) but what can you expect when you modify the factory programs.
I have a 10 second Buick Grand National and I burn my own chips and understand the binary codes on that car, I much rather use a stock or a MP stage 2 ecu in my dodge as chrysler actually sold these and GM never had an aftermarket stock ecu.

Do you have an adj fpr? Do you have any guages to see what's going on (ie EGT, O2 guage)? I'd be tentative running 18 psi on stock pistons without a good tune (broke too many cast pistons myself). Slapping stuff on and just running it, well you never know.

I don't have an AFPR, something I should look into getting? Never got one, cause I'm not sure how to tune with it. I have a short band AF gauge, but really nothing else. I'm not really concerned with this motor. I mean, I don't want it to go POW on the first 18psi pass, but if it does pop, its not a huge deal. I would rather it last a while, but whatever.
