Turbo II Modified Head Build

Sorry, no smokey burnouts just yet, but here's a link to our 1989 Shelby Daytona cylinder head port and polish/rebuild. We've been filming the whole thing. Part One is the tear down, inspection and repair. Next up, DIY port and polish, and we try our hand at gasket matching. For the last bit, we're going to pit our modified head against a standard reman on the chassis dyno and really see what kind of numbers we're making. Enjoy! -Matt

Re: Turbo II Modified Head Build

Yup. We learned that as we got into it, but our course was already set. Also, I hate the thought of those sharp little edges lurking in there, just waiting to heat up and cause preignition. Planning on turning up the boost a bit. Thanks for watching!
