Ya know whats funny about that.
Ever since they built that motor all the import guys are using that as proof that their motors are better.....

When the only thing import about that car is the sticker that says integra on the side.

That thing is pretty insane.
The block is made from a solid chunk of aluminum.
I forgot the name of the guy that makes those blocks but he makes alot of them I guess.

That has about as much in common with an Integra as our cars do with a top fuel Dodge drag car...the embelems.

The motor for that integra, and mainly the head was based on an air race motor that Norwood was building. Although Norwood definitally has some talent, he has REALLY pissed off alot of people lately, namely Rado. Guess he promised things he couldn't deliver and left his customers holding the bag with a cars that were improperly built.

Always wanted to research that project, looked doomed from first
run. Bob obviously built the them a bullit proof chassis but they had
more DNF's than a Honda at our track. Was there ever any mechanical
failure in chassis or did the motor/electronics never get a full head
of steam? Give my left nut for that setup in a very light Omni.

The drive train seemed to be pretty solid, I know they had some problems with cams in the beginning, snapping them in half etc. The problem seemed to be in the chassis setup he build, everything seemed to move the wrong way. He used a pretty tried and true set up for the drive train, lenco tranny with a 9-inch housing routed through a v-drive, so there really wasn't a whole lot to go wrong there. I know he really lost alot of respect with Ari Ashfar's (sp?) all wheel drive subaru. I heard from numerous people that the chassis on it was a total joke, and one Ari took delivery of it from Norwood he had to pretty much rebuild it. I know when Kenny Tran got out from under Norwood he didn't have many nice things to say about him as well.
