I keep forgetting that your at a higher elevation than me, I went 13.88 on a stock Cal so I don't understand? turn you boost down under the cut & u'll run faster than smacking into the cut.

Its totally got a 13 sec run in it without fuel cut. Funny thing was, I kept turning it down. I just never get on it as hard on the street as I do the track. So I didnt know it was going to spool like it did on the top end. Since I have turned the boost down to 10-11 its beat a stage 2 srt4 so I know its got a 13 second run it. Especially now with theh meth.

Thanks alot! The viper only beat me by a second this year, so as long as he doesnt get a new driver mod over the winter, I think I will get him. If this thing wont run faster than a 13.2 next season, its going off a cliff. lol

If it keeps hitting fuel cut then why keep racing?

Those bullseye exhaust housings serve better as a paperweight.

Probably because I was trying to get the overboost eliminator adjusted.
And I will beg to differ on the bullseye housings. The car is came off was was making well over 400hp with it. If thats a paper weight, I will take it.
BTW Welcome to Turbododge.com! Whats your set up can I ask? pics?

I don't have a turbo Dodge at the moment but I used to own a 1987 Shelby Z and a 1991 Spirit R/T. I really miss my Spirit R/T and here and there kick myself in the ass for selling it. I am keeping my eyes open for another one this year. The Shelby Z I purchased stock from the original owners. It was my first manual car back when I was 17. I put an exhaust on it and that was pretty much it. I did a trade with my friend to get the Spirit R/T. I put a 3" turbo-back on it, DSM 1G BOV, super 60 series turbo and computer and a MBC. The car ran great. I took the head off and head it cleaned and checked, had it rebuilt and sold the car to Matt Leischer's father. I don't know if you know Matt but he was huge into the Turbo Dodges and had a highly modded Spirit a few years back.

I have had 30+ cars in my life, I am 26. Most of them were turbo cars or muscle cars. With DSMs the Bullseye housings are known to be junk. More restrictive than good. A good 2G ported, or Evo 3 housing was a much better option than the Bullseye.

I just sold my Lexus GS400 and my 1999 Trans Am. I had a few mods on the Trans Am and I ran a best of a 12.2@122 with a 2.23 60ft on street tires. That was with an auto trans.

I have a 2003 Toyota Sequoia now because my driving record and insurance says I need to slow down. Paying $215/ a month for insurance on a Sequoia is bad enough. Yea you read it right $215/month for insurance. It hurts.

Good luck with the car!

The holset and that housing work great becuse they are t3 flanged and the TIII cars have a standard t3 turbo flange. DSM's have a whole different range of bolton turbos to use.

Only reason people are porting 2g or evo housings is because they dont want to upgrade to a better turbine flange that has turbos available that are large enough for their goals.
