Sorry, here are the links if you can fix them.
YouTube - 1989 Turbo Dodge Caravan Standing Start
YouTube - 1989 Turbo Dodge Caravan Acceleration
YouTube - 1989 Turbo Dodge Caravan Light Em Up

The van has a stock motor, with 245,000kms. Garrett turbo, t2 intercooler, dsm bov, +20's, AFPR, 2.5sv, ported exhaust mani, stock cat and quiet muffler with side exhaust, tranny has doubled up coolers with a cheetah RMVB, tightened front band for much firmer 1-2 shift ( sometimes gets rubber if I wind it out enough ). Completely gutted from cockpit back.

The bet is still in the works. But I'm pretty confident that the van will win. The transam has over 270,000kms, the motor is worn out, valve seals are gone. I think it could be classified as a 2-stroke now because it consumes so much oil when its running. I'm sure my van is at the very least in the low 16's, maybe mid to high 15's. The stock transam with the 5.0L TPI and a stick, only ran at best a 15.6 second quarter mile. I'm sure with the condition its in now, its couldn't be anywhere close to that now. I'd put my money on the van, but when we get to the track I'll let you guys know. lol
