89 daytona cs vs 5.0 built stang

This race is a somewhat long fued, i raced this same car last year before winter, lost twice, hung with him once, and i KNEW with good tires id beat him, well last year the day we talked about racing again it snowed and we were shut down, well anyways I painted my car, he rebuilt his motor...again, so now its for sure built up, unsure of specs cause he wouldnt tell me much.

My car had Drag radials on, air shocks pumped up TII engine just a 2.5 so garrett turbo, 23psi. stock ic, 1gen bov modded, 3in exh, 2.5 sv, 40+s running e85, afpr, stock manifolds, but slightly ported exhaust, custom cal(turbonator) TU 6 puc blue PP, thats all i can think about now.

Funny how at 14 psi on the radials they still were spinning punching it in 2nd, as you can see when i went the first time

It's funny how Turbo'ed 4-Bangers gravitate towards doing battle with Mustangs.

I cant imagine how much more power i'll have when i go FMIC, also my stock turbo is going out :(....good thing i have an extra s60 laying around but I think im going to wait, rebuild it AND when the 3in sv's come out i'll throw that one while im at it

very nice! I've got the same problem with a friend of mine at school. He's got an '88 Notchback 5.0 but he beats on it ALL THE TIME. So I'm biding my time until I've got my Charger TII'd running 18psi
