Here is a video Ondonti did, tuning the junkyard with crazy new fuel setup, and utnissan dyno day. :kool:
I cant describe on the net how out right NUTS :willy_nilly: the car felt the night before the dyno. lol Especially the 24psi "incidents" those were totally crazy! Then after being told no by onditty, I rode in his non existent back seat, on a pillow hanging on to the seatbelts and watching the datalog screen. lmfao. One time wasnt ready and was thrown to the back of the car. lol Makes me appreciate seats even more. Not something I would normally do, but it was drastic measures. lol
Have to say thanks again to the awesome people at dyno day. Ultimate car people! Onditty did a good job with the video.
Hope you enjoy, Rabbit out of a hat **If you dont like political jokes, you may want to skip the first 2 min, but it does explain a little of the inside joke of great depression racing. lmfao**

Its now running megasquirt so tuning it is so much more complicated yet so much easier!
Full timing control is great too! No need to sacrifice low/no boost hp in order to not blow up in the high boost situations. No more need to run super rich at 4000 rpms in order to stay safe at 6000 rpms. A LOT more torque now and wider powerband with the rev limiter sitting wherever I feel like setting it for the day :P

reringed it with thicker copper wire but the headgaskets I used (are used) and had some dirt near the oil feed on one head and are leaking some water and oil into the block valley. slow enough that I don't really care at the moment.

Measured the crush of the larger copper wire vs the stuff I previously used. this stuff is way beefier and we have it pinned before the fire ring in the gasket so it cant push out easily like what happened on the cometic. That might actually be a bad thing when trying to protect the pistons from detonation.

Water pump locked up so I need to replace that and fix a few PS pump issues I created accidentally.

i think hes keeping it beat looking cause #1 makes it even better smokin a new shelby stang or vette that costs 20 times as much and a ragged ass piece of shit sundance, and #2 it would take way to much bodywork to make it look good again :) i like it just the way it is.

Vigo offered me a nice rust free Shadow but I am attached to this car. I will run this chassis for as long as it makes sense to. I don't know if I would want to put a cage in this car. That might be money down the tube. Car gets a lot of attention and I am sure the ugliness makes people more interested in it, especially at the track or at car meets.

yeah man +1 on keepin it ugly. as for the cage i would do it, its cheap insurance for your life (knock on wood)if u have an accident ? and that thing will crunch up like a rusty daiwoo lanoz if u hit anything.
