Is this the first time they have tried to sell cars in european markets? That must be why they started selling ugly cars here too.....

Over here "Chevrolet" is the new brand name for Daewoo - hence all the crappy little cars in the ad. So being GM's new budget brand name will severely annoy those who run American Chevys (many are showoffs since a Camaro is pretty exotic here - certainly more than stuff like Lotuses or Rolls Royces).

Most GMs are sold as Vauxhall here and Opel in the rest of Europe BTW.

A pretty interesting note, I guess its all what you are used to, around here Corvettes and Camaros are petty common, and I don't think I have ever seen a Lotus or Rolls Royce...

Would insurance rates and taxes be very large on something like a Camaro compared to something like a Ka, or a more normal car?

Tax on cars over 1.6 liters is all the same, but gas is up over $7/gal Insurance is more than a regular econobox, I know a 20 year old with a 273ci Barracuda that just got insured for about $2500, and considered himself lucky.

Sorta looks and behaves more like a RWD than 4WD, as far as I can tell.
