not to stray too far off topic but that civic probably couldnt take out some of our TD's making 2/3rds the HP... unless it was on the highway.

So tell me...how many of us here can run 11's @ 135mph on street tires LETTING OFF at the big end of the track?!?!
That Honda would trash 99% of the cars on this board without even breaking a sweat.

I ddont se how a boost friendly piston could possible make power liek that. sick sick sick

Its all about the head flow, more air in=more fuel in=more hp. One of our motors with the 16-valve head and a big turbo at 25psi could make 550hp easy. And agreed that car is just plain sick, people can bash it all day long because its a honda, but at the end of the day it'll blow the doors off 99% of the cars out there, including this board. I'm not so sure why people are stoked on our motors making massive amounts of torque, we cant use it anyways. So maybe the honda makes 550hp, and what like 350ft-lbs? Crap I make 200 ft-lbs in my charger and cant keep the front wheels from going up in smoke, what the hell am I gonna do with 500ft-lbs.

Anything can be powerful and reliable at the same time if you build it properly. I have seen for myself 500HP streetable Honda's that don't break like you say they do...
I'm talking about the REAL import owners/racers...not the pathetic losers that you see all over creation.
And if you think TD's are cheap...try making some really nice power without destroying the motor more than the imports do.

Worksafe....use common sense.
Let me put it this way, is it something you'd let your kids watch.

New twist on the jet/rocket go-kart, this one sends power to the wheels, doesn't work out so well in the end though. Jet-Kart

That is the point entirely. I don't wanna see anything off-color personally, but that doen't mean I will get all bent because it's here. I simply don't watch it. Done...
On top of that how many people let their kids watch trash these days, so I'm afraid you can't use that as a standard either.
It should be kept simple like no bare titties or porn or something like that.
Common sense is a thing of the past unfortunately. Just look at the people around you and how they drive. Complete lack of common sense or decency.
