Even in Mexico against a boosted Mustang.

But here is a video of one of our members with a 10 second Omni getting smoked by his friend. Seen that mustang when it only ran 10's and it was fun to watch then.

Then here is an 8 second shadow vs SN95 mustang. This is not one of his fastest passes but its against a Mustang.

The roll race with the snow on the side was my Shadow also, same road, I have some of my van, let me find them

Re: mustang vs any TD

Here is a video of my 86 Shelby Charger vs a 14 Mustang 5.0 with intake, exhaust and tune. I was running 14 psi and lost by about a car at the end but think I got sprayed right at the end with a low N20 bottle. Car pulled strong the whole way. Video sucks but if you look close you can see my car break traction when I nail it and slide toward the white line on the edge of the highway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=eZFMBoqvPeQ

Re: mustang vs any TD

On pump gas ive never even had a close run against a mustang, only got beat by an ls trans am when i was breaking in the new engine on 8 psi of boost first time i ever drove the it, put 3 lengths on my brothers c6 with headers exhaust, cai and tune and i had a passenger lol. took him to about 150 mph from a 60 roll 3 times and he inched a little closer each run as my intercooler heated up.

Time to install a mister on the intercooler then.

I do have a nitrous kit in my arsenal might be a good use to turn it into an intercooler cooler lol, Im not getting very good airflow through it tho and was thinking about adding a few holes in the front bumper, might help out with the dual 10" electric fans i added to it.

I hope so. Yes only 14 psi. Was having some knock issues. I think it was oil leaking past the valve guides so didn't turn the boost up any further. Also had a lower exhaust stud leaking a little coolant. It took me about 4 or 5 cal changes to get the fueling right. Also the car was getting into the rev limiter super easy and had to raise that as well. These cars can run good even at relatively low boost if your setup is well matched. This car even with an obx lsd and 200 tread wear tires has traction problems rolling in second at any rpm that the turbo will make full boost. Maybe not the best for racing, but rolling burnouts just stepping on the gas is fun.
