I know gm has different prices on there performance parts, does dodge also do this? Most of the time I can get things 20-40% percent cheaper than a regular customer. This being said, I was wondering if the salesman who sold me my car would get me some parts at his cost. I hope, I only sent 3 people to him to buy cars!!

I'm not an employee, but I do know employees and 5 star dealer
employees can get a discount.
There is a vendor that will sell Stage 3 w/toys with a discount
for $2800ish.
Normal stage 3 price is $3600.
If I could get a discount, I would have it.

You can always try. Best thing would be to phone a dealer away from you, get the retail price then ask the salesman what he can get it for. Then you know if he's giving you a deal or ?

I work at a Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealership. The only discounts we get are on vehicles. We discount our own employees on parts. If you are a former employee of Chrysler {not a dealer employee} you get discounts off of parts with a coupon or something. The dealer will get reimbersed for the discounts too. As far as performance parts go a Performance parts dealer can usually get parts cheaper than the us that are not a performance parts dealer. I have seen ads in magazines for the performance dealers selling stuff at prices cheaper than my cost.

i also work at a dealer. It seems to be a dealership policy, not a chrysler wide policy, it seems every dealer is different. ask the dealers in your area and see.

I used to work for a dodge dealership and now I work for DC, when at the dealership I got parts at cost + 10%. I don't know if I am entitled to the same deal now or not but I have some buddies at the dealership still that will still give me parts at cost +10%. It is up to the dealership though, some will sell parts at cost +15%, it just depends.

I got the same set-up with the head parts guy at my local dodge shop. Good to be buddies with people!

people who work at 5 star dealers get coupons for 25% off parts. this is only for 5 star dealers however. you get the discount codes online and they are good for 25% off one order, not one part. so you can order however much you want and you get the discount off the total.

Here you go: http://www.mopar.com/employee/

Your welcome!

And yes us DCX employees get parts at 25% off - from the above link. But having a wife that works at the local dealership, plus me working for DCX can always find good deal.

I get about 25% below dealer cost, i think. I just bought a cruise unit (THAT DOESN'T WORK ON S2! lol) for $170. It listed for $240 or so.

Thanks for the info guys/girls. I went out and checked it out. The discounts are for 25% off MSRP which is what I sell stuff at wholesale for. Not a bad deal. At my dealership I sell to employees at 10% over cost which is usually about 30-35% off of MSRP.
