Yes, the Jeep tranny is a direct bolt on... The 2.4L (non-turbo 150hp) & 6spd/manual combo is currently avaliable in the Wranglers. I can almost guarantee that trans won't hold up to 500 turbocharged hp!

My current 5spd, which was originally back of a whopping 87 RWHP NA 2.5L, is having all it can do to hang in there behind 200+ turbocharged RWHP. It's lifespan is certainly on borrowed time. When it dies, an NV4500 3/4 ton Ram 5spd trans will be dropped in. Then the boost will be turned up and the games will begin!

Thanks. I have waiting for a long time to get info on this very car. What all did you have to do in order to use the powerglide combined with the tIII motor? Thank you so much.

okay another one. what did you do in regards to mounting the rear end? What did you have to reinforce on the back end of the body to support the conversion?
