what are the difference's between the 2.4 block in a Status and the 2.4 in the Jeep Liberty? What I really want to know if the FWD 2.4 will bolt to the Jeep Liberty 2.4 tranny.

Yes, that will also. BUT (I'm saying this to warn you) The flywheel in the Liberty and TJ is thicker than the car flywheels. There MAY be a clutch placement issue. I guess you'll find out. When you do... let me know.

I'll add this. To use a 2.4 SRT4 clutch in a neon NVT350 transmission, part of the clutch has to be milled to fit the ring gear.
