What is the differences between the PT turbo engine and the SRT-4 engine? Are the internals the same?

Just going by what the parts guy told me last summer when I asked. Might have been a fudge on the computer system of Mopar.

The internals are exactly the same, even the turbocharger. Only main difference was the intake manifold on PT vs. Srt , alot had to do with packaging. When we designed the PT intake it had to go back over top of the cylinder head, whereas the srt had more room up front.

I also helped co-author an SAE paper on "Turbocharging the Chrysler 2.4L Engine" that you might want check out.

Thanks!
