I dunno if they will fit on the Shadow or not, but I had 225/45-17's on my stock wheels.

There was an '89 CSX at SDAC-15 with SRT-4 rims on it... looked good I think there are pics of it in the www.sdac.org SDAC-15 gallery or the www.**************** SDAC-15 gallery...

205/50/17 rub a little.....so is it the 50 (height thats causing rub or is it the 205(width).....i guess from the responses i got,i should be safe with 215/45/17...just dont want to spend 250 on rubber and have a rub issue.
i found srt 4 wheels(copies) on ebay cheap...i think 340 for four and like 80 to ship them all. thanks everyone!....ryan

I was the one with the SRT wheels on the CSX at SDAC. Those were the stock wheels and tires off my SRT-4 and they do rub at max turn. I would recommend a 40 or 45 series tire, 45 may still rub a little bit. I've tried 45 and 50 and each had a little rub at max turning.

But why?? Theyre only a 6" rim, making the car way too prone to crappy handling and loss of traction. Get wider ones, they will make any car look better and handle WAY better.

Why do you think the people driving SRT4s get rid of them?

I've bought a couple sets of take-offs with great stock BF-G KDW tires for around $400, so if that price is just for wheels I'd look elsewhere. Maybe check with any local SRT-4 owners or local forums (or over on srtforums.com).

I've got stock SRT-4 wheel/tires on both my Daytona's and my minivan. The Daytona's like most of the K-based cars using them that I've seen will rub ever so slightly. The SRT-4 wheels use a 45mm offset vice the ~40mm most of the older wheels use, and sit inwards a little bit more in the wheel wells. They're only a 6" wide rim, so while 215/45-17's fit and barely work on the SRT-4's (some have even ran 225/45-17), on the older cars they might rub too much, not to mention are still a little bit too wide for the wheel.
