Consider these five reasons to buy it:
1)The Neon SRT looks tough (forget the cheszy pedals and focus on that hood).
2) It had a 1/4 time of 13.8 or 13.9 bone stock.
3) Can beat (stock to stock) a Spirit R/T, Daytona Iroc RT, Charger GLHS and Omni GLHS.
4) It will be very rare soon.....and
5) It devours two ton plates of starchy foods such as rice (see below remark) at the stoplight of your choice.

Honda? Toyota? Integra? Or Tonka? What's the difference?
They're all toys except that Tonkas are American.

I would agree with everything else... except the rare part. Even with the current rate that kids are killing themselves in them.. it will take a long time for these things to be conisdered rare.

I know they stopped making them and I see less and less everyday. Just makes me glad that I grabbed mine up when I did. Mine ran 13 flat just by putting a k&n, taking the airbox top off, and runnin 13psi. No need to upgrade exhaust they come factory with a borla exhaust atleast that is what I heard. They sound mean as hell...

Nope. Factory exhaust is not Borla. Borla makes the Mopar Performance exhaust.

Actually, I read on the SRT forum that the factory boost gauge is garbage. It was reading 13psi and I ran a 13.03.....

I just bought an SRT-4 and I'll tell ya that once I rebuilt my Spirit RT with a comp, inj, and bled the boost to 18 it's considerably faster than my SRT-4. I'm looking for cheap effective mods for my SRT-4.

04 SRT Stock untouched LB, 50 trim, 3' exhaust, Large FMIC, good clutch, 750cc inj's + Dtec and CAI = 11.61 @ 123.5mph Daily driver. Full bodied with spare being the only thing taken out.

Mine is 13 psi since I bought it new in '05
20" vacuum at idle. I think the gauge is right.
No boost leaks as I check it often.
