Duh, but most people put really tall tires on the SRT 4. The reason the trap speeds are different shows the SRT 4 is really over geared. With taller wheels this gets a lot worse.

stock 03 and 04 times are as high as 103 MPH, but many 04 and later cars run a little slower. 03s have shorter gears. The ACR with the 16" wheels even in the mags has run 105 MPH going even shorter.

The black SRT 4 here runs 13.4@106 with 18" wheels that are 225 wide. Unbolt them and change nothing else and install 225 50 15 drag radials. The ET is better from the 60ft, but MPH comes from better gearing. The car runs 12.7s@ 111 MPH. The retard here local though thinks tall 16" drag radials were better and he runs a stage 3. The taller tires make it run 117 MPH, it is catching the stage 1. But the ET is 12.85 with the stage 1. Running right a high 13 second SRT 4 on stock wheels should drop to low 13s with a 107 trap speed with the right tires. There are a lot of clowns running 14s here, but a couple kids can actually drive and run consistant 13s with them. Clays car has a big FMIC, new upper boost lines with the BOV moved, 2.5" K&N typhoon and a stage 1 computer. Thats it for power upgrades, stock exhaust. His wife won't let him do any mods to make it faster. She has no idea that it is faster and doesn't notice the other stuff. The exhaust louder she would notice quikly so it can't be changed. The car may go stage 3 or 2 with toys and still have too keep the stock exhaust so wife don't freak

Bone stock with 500 miles and dealer tag, it went 13.73@103. I have the video of it. With the current setup it went 13.01@107 on DR's. It has stock exhaust w/o cat, Stage 2 wastegate, Stage 2 centerforce clutch, cone filter, and short throw.

Nice to see some one who can drive one =P I think much of the issues are because of a lack of driving often. The guy on TM.com, Contraption, he can't run 13s with mods LMAO. He was starting wars here over it with because I was a big liar, SRT 4s aren't that fast lol. Lucky though he went and started another forum. I am beginning to think the stage 2 doesn't help much unless you have a full 3" with 02 pipe, things drown the engine with fuel. One guy I am working with is able to run E85 with the red button pushed full time and no detonation. The stage 1 is a nicer mod for cheap power. I bought the sRT 4 short throw for my GLHS and a 523 / 568 hybrid I like the way it shifts so well.

That's correct, stage 2 was specifically calibrated to run a full 3" exhaust.

Are you blind? Look at the trans card! ALL 03s have the 3.9* ring and pinion and all the 04 and newer with posi have a 3.5* gear ratio. Start popping the hoods and looking!

Then the stage 2 drowns your engine with so much fuel you get 13:1 AF at cruize and 10:1 AF under boost. 3 points richer than a stage 1 or stock. And people actually wonder why many stage 1 cars are faster. Don't believe me? Buy a wide band, a stage 1 and a stage 2 and go see for your self, O yeah forgot your blind.

Mopar recommends both stage 2 and 3 run a less restrictive exhaust. This is not news by any means.

This is where you are wrong. My car is an 03 and I swapped in a brand new tranny last year. The final drive on both tags is 3.52. And yes it was a non lsd tranny originally in the car.

My car ran 11.34 @ 128mph
