srt4gurl, are you running the stock stage 3 wga or the AGP wga? Also, are you running the stage 3 fuel pump or the walbro 255?

fricking sweet. lotta nice times. Just bought mine. Full stage 3 with turbo toys. Can't take credit for the build or money poured into it. But wow no traction. It's an 04 so It's spinnin both. So when I go to buy a wheel and tire set-up what would you O.G.'s suggest? wide ass 15"s with some stickies? how wide can I go? Offset? Do I need to get beefier CV's? And do the stage 3's run as rich as the 2's as was mentioned earlier? I'm getting over 30 mpg hwy. And any suggestions on launching would be great. I'm a rwd BB 4spd kinda person so this is new to me. I have no prob saying I'm not the best driver. Thanks Guys and Gurls

So you are saying that you are running a stock pump and an unmodded stage 3 turbo to 127mph. Thats basically impossible. That would mean you are putting out almost 500whp on a 40lb/min wheel. Not to call you a liar I just dont see that happening on a stock stage 3 turbo. And there is just no way you have enough fuel to support that horsepower. Either you left out mods or you guys race with a 50mph tail wind. Lets put it this way I was at the track this weekend with a local. He has a DCR complete race motor, with the head and cams, AEM, full blown rail, 750 injectors and a 255 pump. With an upgraded 50lbs/min stage 3 turbo. At 27 psi he has only trapped 122mph.

Well up here in Canada they are all over the place. I beat one with my 93 3L duster but got smoked by another. Anywhere from high 15s to low 14s stock depending on the driver.

Actually, just over 400 with slicks should run that.

Thats where you are wrong. My car on pump dyned 431 whp. On that same pump tune it runs consistant 11.5's @ 123-124mph. This is with slicks and I can drive 1.6-1.7 60 foot times. Now on race gas my car dynoed 478whp, with that tune the car runs 128-129mph. Either way you slice it a stock fuel pump which I believe is 180lph will never push enough volume to support say 430whp on a 2.4 motor. Then add that she has a ported head, there is no way there is enough fuel to support it. If she is doing it god bless those pistons and knock sensor. Like I said I just think she is leaving out some mods

I've generally accepted that most srt folks making big power can't get down the track worth a crap. As far as fuel, you may be right... Most serts are hack tuned anyways.

It shouldn't take that much power to run 11.5s though.

Say your car weighs 3000lbs, which is rather lite for an SRT. Mine weighs in at 3088 with driver. By your mph thats 480whp (roughly). So im the tool that doesnt believe a 180lph fuel pump can push enough volume to support 480whp? Like I said im not claiming BS on your run, its a very good run and I love to see fast srt's. Im just saying I think you may have left out a fuel mod or 2. Call me a tool all you want but its basically impossible. We pushed my stock pump to its limits at the dyno. It was running 12.2 a/f's at 5,500rpm at 19psi of boost the car put down 388whp.

If it is in fact true answer me a few questions. How much boost where you running? What were the the a/f's at say 4,800rpm to 6,500rpms?

I see it every weekend at the track. Most people can't get these things down the track. Its not the easiest thing to drive, all it takes is practice and a little skill to be honest. I would say 80% of srt's are completely hack tuned. Thats why these idiots pop motors left and right. Hell my motor has around 500 passes on it and it still has great compression across the board
