Has anyone taken delivery or driven the Caliber SRT4 yet? What was the impression?

Ordered mine the last week in October, they said 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Pretty anxious to see what I ordered and how it does. I will be sure to keep you posted.
Are you looking at buying one?

Buying one would be 100% contingent on a test drive and mopar upgrade availability to 400HP .

The car dealership I ordered my SRT4 from called and gave me some bad news. They said that because of the stereo I ordered, the Kicker Livin' Loud whatever, I wouldn't get my car 'til Feb. I'ts all good, it will be just that much more fun to get. Kind of wanted it to be a Christmas present to myself though.

Brought mine home on 12/7/07. Already put 700 miles on the car. Absolutely love it!!!

Waiting for the weather to clear to get some good pictures. Its been snowing off an on for the last week and a half. I was worried that I would have trouble with the snow but it actually isn't bad at all. The ESP and BAS do a great job of keeping it on the road!

Nice car amigo. Can't wait to get mine home and put 700 miles on it. Looks like you went with the polished rims, nice. I will get a pic up as soon as I can.

There's a couple vids floating around with the Darrel Cox (Red Shed) CSRT-4 running against a stock SRT-4. Pretty impressive machine, not that it's surprising or anything.

you could have just bought the base sterio, with the CD player, then added a 6 disc changer in the glove box or whatever, along with kicker int. speakers and a kicker L7 with a zx 1000.1. how much was the sterio upgrade anyway?

I don't remember the cost right off hand, but I think it was around $1300. If you go to DriveSRT.com, or any Dodge site, and build one, it will lay out the prices on all options. I thought about going with an after market stereo, but also thought about the space it might eat up. The glove box is off limits, since it couples as a cooler for....drinks. I also wanted to keep it factory in the event I sell it. I avoided the sunroof, but did order a block heater, and the 110 volt outlet in the console, to recharge the battery on my camcorder, or whatever.

i am actually in the market for a new turbo something as a DD

i test drove one the other day at a far away dealer. a few things didnt do it for me. #1 was the electronic/abs/brake using LSD as its called or whatever. Made the car scary when it broke loose. the other thing is that i just couldnt get comfortable in it and im not even a that big (6 foot 180). it also had some interesting road manners on them big ol 19's. I mean that parts wasnt terrible, i driven uncomfortable cars before but i dont know if this one is for me.

i think im going to go with the mazdaspeed3. just liked the car better. I may stop in at my local dodge dealer and see if one of my freinds can give me an offer i cant refuse though

i think cars got too SUV looking now. what happen to good sporty looks. every turbo car on the market is a 4 door or 5, i hate it. if i was to buy a new turbo car i'd but a solstice or a sky. great looking cars, plus there RWD.
i test drove a new sky and i loved it. they got just as much interior room as a vette.
i just don't know why car companies arn't coming out with more sport car type turbo cars
like the eclipse was. they go right around their sports car and go for the sedan. whats up with that? even mazda. why can't they at least make a 3 coupe? people just don't know what a good looking car is any more.. i want a sports car not a sporty car.
