This is really easy (and CHEAP!) to do. You need a spring (throttle return type) that attaches to the WGA arm on one end and a solid mounting point (I used the battery tray) on the other. That's it. The amount of boost increase that you will be able to hold depends on the spring's pressure (you'll need a boost controller of some type to increase boost). Works OK but when you can afford it I'd step up for an AGP WGA.

we got my buddys car to spike at around 23 psi, and hold 20/21. only problem is the car learns, and starts dropping boost off sooner. we wired the PCM fuse to ignition power, so it reset everytime you shut the car off.

VERY bad idea. You'll lose adaptive fuel and everything else that a complex adaptive engine managment system like the NGC controllers do. Simply disconnect the wastegate from the stock WGA solenoid, problem fixed. You'll get a CE/Code for part throttle boost exceeded, but that's minor. Use a MBC connected right to a manifold pressure source and an external spring or higher tension actuator to control boost.
