Thanks for posting the dyno charts. It is interesting to hear
what others are thinking about the SRT-4. The old 'not reliable'
argument seems to always pop up. I suppose the early 2.2 turbo
problems with headgaskets is what people remember....it most
likely didn't help that Shelby put the lightweight rods in some of
his cars either. The small block Chevy is known to be capable of
great power levels, but people don't think you can just go to the
wrecking yard and get any old 307 or 305 and get 400HP out of
it do they?

Most of the supra guys are alright. They may not like the car itself but alteast most of them respect it and several even seem to know what they are talking about .

Its the same for the rx-7 guys

Hey Dark Wolf.... I see your posts on that forum. I was going to write a reply, but don't care to join the list.
You might want to tell them that the Viper V-10 wasn't a 360 with which they welded on 2 extra cylinders. Inform the retard there about the GMC AWD Syclone. 13s stock (they say) and 4.3 turbo V-6 which is based off the 350 with 2 cylinders missing... so I guess that couldn't be all that bad.

Notice I only said several new what they were talking about . I only joined cause I was thinking about buying a sec gen supra turbo before I finally broke down and accepted that a 5.0l mustang was the best car for me. Same reason I am on the rx-7 board.
