you can buy a dual core on ebay really cheap, then you have real end tanks that are stronger. I also found out ebay pipe doesn't work unless welded, the pipe crushes when you clamp on it.

I am looking at getting the mini 9 notebook from Dell, looks great. The secretary needs one she can carry easy. Also looks like a good one for in the car too.

For $45 it isn't worth welding 2 intercoolers. I have 6 stock ICs if anyone needs one lol

Heh, good price on that intercooler.
As for the intercooler pipe. Use your brain a little bit more. Do you think there is only ONE kind of pipe sold on eBay? I know what you mean about thin crushable pipe, I had some of that crap on my van when I got it. It's barely twice the thickness of a soda can. This pipe I bought was recommended to me by a friend that had bought it and used it himself. It's easily twice as thick as what my van came with. It's not going to crush or collapse under the force of the clamps.
Doing a little research/asking around before buying on eBay goes a long ways..

there is a guy on his way to my house as we speak with a 96 2.4 in the bed of his truck. i also happen to have an 88 horizon with no engine in it in my garage, and a set of srt4 pistons and rods on their way to me in the mail....

So you use thickness of pipe mixed in with using brains :) It is the grade of the pipe, not the thickness that makes the difference. I have some Ebay stuff here that crushes real easy, low grade and some pipe from Jay of the same thickness that doesn't crush.

I'm sure there are some good kits on Ebay, but none of them are under $100 that include much. In the end it doesn't matter if you own a bead roller and good couplers, then even the cheap pipe works with cheap clamps. I haven't found a cheap bead roller yet..:(
