I would like to buy a book that shows where the different lines go on the block and torque specs for fasteners and so on. I am new to working on them and need the service books! Thanks

Did you check eBay?
I just looked, typed in Dodge Neon Service Manuals and there are lots of them.

There are lots, and the ones I've looking in didn't have SRT 4 info...

Is there one to recomend I guess should be the question.

I do not own a SRT but most of the ones on there were Chrysler Manuals, guess it depends what year(s) you are looking for and I assume there is more than one manual for each year so I would just take a look.
There was one on there in CD Rom format that covered 2000-2006 and said it covered almost everything and was only $6.95 which sounds low to me but the seller had 100 % + feedback and if you pay with PayPal you are covered should anything be wrong.
I would contact the seller with any questions you have.

hey how about some info on the differences between the 2.4 N/A engine and the srt4 engine. stuff like blocks heads cranks rods etc. i asked the same question on neons.org but everybody who posted kept babling on about sensors and ecu stuff when all i wanted to know is if the srt4 block was stronger than the N/A block

Inside the SRT4 Engine Should cover most everything you need to know.. As for the block strength.. Neon guys are making just as much power with the N/A blocks as the SRT4 guys are.. I don't know of any strength differences.
