We're bringing the Spirit R/T next year and we're gonna put THAT up on the dyno...
I bet Ryan will get more crap with the R/T than we got with the SRT. But that's alright. The R/T should put down far better numbers than the SRT.

I'm 4 months late replying but I just noticed this thread. That red Omni is owned by a guy from Coon Rapids. I talked to him for 20 minutes or so. I think he got the car for free. Someone was going to junk it out otherwise. They told him, go a head and get it out of here. The car also came WITH the Cenurions! It was really nice close up. The guy is out of the loop. He's not on any of these lists or forums as far as I know and doesn't drive the car much. I've bumped in to him towing a TII Daytona in Anoka once, but never saw that car in Coon Rapids myself.
Shay, Just out of curiosity, was that your Neon that had the low tire at the fair grounds that I told you about. That popped in to my head when I saw the pictures of all the cars.

Naw, I think it was Kelly's car with the flat tire!! Her's was the red one w/ the stock wheels.
I know she had gotten a flat tire the night before and was just going to the gas station to keep in inflated!

I dont know if it was hers or not? I just know we have had a bunch of leaky tires on that car.
The Daytona is doing good. Shannon just needs to get adjusted to driving an "OLD" car, haha . I wish I could fix the oil leak and get the passenger door to open but I havn't had time lately. No big problems or anything, except trying not to dump money into it to restore it. We really like the car a lot!

Watch what you say about an "OLD Car" That was the newest car I ever owned. Not including my wifes Tracker (91) I'm glad you two like it still. It's too bad it's such a pain to fix the pan gasket. Tricky one to get at and with the weather. My Charger is leaking some kind of oily substance. Not sure what it is, but after the Daytona left, I cleaned the driveway and see new spots again. I don't think I'll ever be rid of those as long as I drive these cars. If it isn't power steering fluid it's tranny fluid or oil. No end to it.

Well, we had a little set back at Cub the other day.
The door panel on the driver side door fell over the door lock. So when Ryan went to unlock the door, the panel was stuck over it and not budging.
And you know that you can't get in through the passanger side door or the hatch... :P

How'd you get in? I suppose it was cold and windy when this happened?
When I left the Car Craft show at the fair grounds, the door that I just fixed, wouldn't work with the key. (Drivers side) I walked around the car to the passenger side. This was the first time the passenger side failed me. I just stood there looking at the car thinking, "you did it to me again"
Luckily, I played with the drivers side for a few seconds and the thing opened. After that the problem just kind of went away. I've waited to fix my Charger door handles until I had to crawl through the hatch one or two times. I know you don't have that option. I don't know what it is about the Daytona panels, but they don't want to stay seated down where they belong. I always wanted to add a couple screws to hold the thing down. But, naturally, you only think about those things when you're stranded. After you get in, It's not as important. LOL
