1992 and 1993 IROC R/T Registry

I've been slowly gathering vins to try and complete a IROC R/T registry. Of
the 341 1992 cars I have verified over 270 VINs. Of the 212 1993 cars I
have 158 of them. This is counting all the cars that were exported to
Canada and Europ as well.


If you have an IROC R/T, know some one who has one or even have an engine or
transmission out of one please email me the VIN number. Once I have all of
the VIN's cataloged I can organize them and we will finally be able to say
what number of the Total production you have. I hate to say how many
countless hours I have into this right now but I've pretty much hit a dead
spot and am having troubles finding anymore. Sometimes if I have one VIN
number I can find 3 or 4 more cars that were built sequentially. Please
email them to shadow16v@gmail.com and you can trust that any VIN's provided
will be kept confidential and no information given out.

At least my recently aquired 1993 IROC R/T was easy to find considering it
is a PVP Pilot and the 3rd R/T built in 1993.

I don't know if I have sent you my vin yet. When I get home and have a minute I will send it to ya. I would love to know more about my RT and which order it was made in. I have a feeling its one of the first because its a PVP Pilot car. I also found a checkout slip from when Chrysler owned it! It was checked out on Dec of 91 for something. I can't tell what because it the second part of the carbonless form. Thanks again

What about the other 2 r/t's in utah?

I'm slowly making progress. Went through over 1,500 individual vin numbers last night to veryfy there were no IROC R/T's built in that sequence. As far as progress. If you have one of the last 100 or so IROC R/T's made in 1993 I can probbly tell you what number your car is. Other than that. Still slow going.

If I could get the VIN's that would help greatly. I finally have a very organized way of doing this. WHen people now email me the VIN, I'm keeping VIN, Color, Date and hour of production, Owners name and Email. If you wish to provide an address and phone number that would be great also.

Thanks for bringing that up, I hadn't even though of that. I haven't seen Tyler on here for a while and I know Clint is not on here so I doubt they know about this. I need to return a crank sensor to Clint, so I will let him know about it. I know Tyler would be interested in this as his 92 RT is a PVP also.

There was a 92 Iroc R/T here in Richmond about 2 years ago. I missed out on buying it and then I found it again sitting in a trailer park. Then hurricane Gaston flooded the park and they condemed it. I haven't seen it since. I had the VIN at one point though. I'll try to find it. It was white. Last I saw it, it had a service spare on the LF corner and damaged fender.

Really? Thank God. I was afraid it had been lost. I really wanted it at the time, but didn't have the 3 grand the shady car salesman was asking. It had been wrecked before, and the factory wheels were gone. But it's good to know it's in better hands now.

Just an update- I have 195 of the 212 1993 cars now. I have VIN numbers on 8 of the Blue ones, just 2 more of those to find. I'm slowly making progress. If you have a IROC R/T please send me the VIN, it's possibly yours may be one of the few I don't have yet. As soon as I finish the 1993 Cars I will begin working on the 1992 cars.
