This is also why I will sue the hell out of mine or any insurance company until they replace my car with a like car.

I might part some of the items but I'm keeping everything motor related for my 92 Iroc R/t that has some problems. I hope to have the Iroc going by spring. And Yes, the wife will NOT drive it when it is done. She has killed 2 cars within 11 monthes. Her Z06 vette and my 91 R/T. I think I'll put her in a 72 catalina. At least with that she could turn the oak tree into fire wood.

As far as insurance cost goes, my 92 Iroc R/T has a higher rate than my 91 Spirit R/T. I'm pretty sure that the Daytona must show up as a sports car where as the Spirit is a Sedan, going by the VIN's.

I heard that the rear spoiler was an option in 92 on the higher priced models. Anyone know if that's true?

My insurance company lists mine as a turbo Spirit. I guess like the 2.5's. Not as good a break as you.

And my insurance company sent me a notice saying my vehicle was in a "high performance" category. HA! It's still thousands less per year than my 04 Neon R/T was.

OptiCon,

I'll see your "bet yours isn't a 92" and raise you a "bet yours isn't silver!"

Heh.

Okay, I've been looking for a new chin spoiler cause mine is beat up. Anyone knows if those were specific too? As for insurance I don't have it cause I'm still rebuilding the engine, but I can say when I do get it on the road, it'll be cheap. If I total it, I hope they'll give me alot more than if I totaled my TBI. Hopefully, I wont have to collect on the insurance anyway. It'd be a waste of a good '92 R/T.

Once they run the VIN, they'll know exactly what it is. No use trying to hide it.

The chin spoiler is not specific. You can find them on the ES and I believe the LE modles.
