As owner of a 69,000 mile fire-breathing Spirit R/T, it saddens me to see so many have been parted out as evidenced by all the ebay traffic on engines, heads and such. I saw references to someone at one time doing a Spirit R/T registry. With such a low original production run, I am amazed that these cars have not seen their values go up as evidenced by the car price guides such as NADA etc. Does anyone have any idea how many are left?

Even with all the ones that have been parted out, I'm pretty sure there's still way more Spirit R/T's than Iroc R/T's.

I am giving serious consideration to selling mine at a loss just because I don't have the heart to part out another R/T

Well, look on the bright side. Don't know about your insurance company, but State Farm looks at them like regular Spirits. I pay about $40 a month for each of mine with full coverage.

What I meant was... what kindof rates do you think I would be getting for an IROC R/T compared to a regular Spirit? I get a whole lot of speed for $40 a month.

Well, call them up and tell them it's just a Daytona. See what they say. If they don't specifically ask if it's an IROC, then don't tell them.

Just a heads up, there is one less 91 R/T. My wife just wrecked mine into an oak tree, rear first. On the bright side of things, the front of the car is still as nice as the day I bought it.
