Got my lifters
Got crackin' right away.. I undid the rod and took it off. Placed it on a tray (lifter side up) and took it in the house. Removed all the lifters and then I soaked the new lifters in oil overnight.. well overnight turned into a day. I went to press one lifter in today just to see how they stayed in the rocker for when I put the whole rod back(don't want to lose the little discs). Well I couldn't press that bad boy in. I just went back.. rubbed up the walls of the rocker with some oil... pressed pretty hard because I don't want to break the little jammy. It flew across the room and landed on my area rug Can they take a lot of pressure I don't want to break the swivel cap
Any tips would be great

I put electrical tape around the jaws of a channel lock (sure you could use some locking pliers), plus a rag and squeezed them in. It doesn't take much, just more than I could do by hand. Some people might flame me for this method but it did not harm the lifter face.

Yeah, don't ya love that feeling when you post something that works for you, but you are sure someone won't agree and try to bust you for it

Sounds like a good way to do it to me rc91 The E-tape is a good tip because sopmetimes Channel Locks will unintentionally cut through a rag.
