Few little things I have gotten done while waiting for a cal and a few other things.

Finally got the DevilsOwn kit on. I am really happy with it so far. This is where the controller ended up. Next to it will go a Greddy Profec B boost controller, and below that is a Autometer narrowband a/f gauge thats hooked up to the narrowband output on my zeitronix. That way I can see the color out of the corner of my eye, instead of having to watch the display all the time.

Finally got my catch can put in too. Looks ok, but I am going to paint it flat black just like the intercooler pipes.

Soundng good so far. Since you have no AIS, did you remember to crack the butterfly a little?

I agree! I had to modify my ford TB to make the throttlestop adjustable when I ran into that same problem (AIS not able to make up for the cam and you dont even have an AIS !).

yea throttle stop is adjustible, i'm running a 75mm BBK for a 5.0
electronics is FAST ecu and e-dist, and spark is handled by MSD DIS-2
with msd cam and crank triggers. also running a neon coil..
i had the butterfly set really close to closed, it's the spot where the ais goes that left a big hole for air to get in and threw off the map sensor cause i couldn't pull vac. it was a real rough "well let's see if it'll run" kinda thing..
I basically just needed some light at the end of the tunnel kinda thing..
I'm working on cleaning things up and getting it race ready now, and then play with it and get it running good. i'm gonna try to get a better video conversion next time so it sounds better.. kinda sounds under water echo-ish
in the vid.. but it sounds so deep and brutal.. i'll play with the cal some and it should clear right up.. after an entire year without my shelby, man it feels good to sit in her and hit that start button..

oil leak... sounds like a normal TD now... LOL that sux on the pan gasket, that thing has been dropped what? twice already? and now a 3rd time? well atleast on the plus its running decently now. gotta stop by and check it out sometime. did some of the "roughness" go away? or does it still sound bad-ass?

BTW - that "bumper sticker" in your sig is awesome...

ok i replaced the pan gasket so the leak should be gone. I got it to cold idle at 1200 then drop down so far to just over 1000rpms, and it starts sounding real deep and aggressive again..just can't run it long without a coolant system in place.. waiting on an order to arrive so i can weld on an elbow to the griffin rad so i can hook up the top hose to it. I still haven't tried to see if it would move under its own power yet.. I hope by this weekend i can test it.
this was my first auto i ever built so i'm kinda expecting some kind of a problem anyway.. manual trans is easy, I've done plenty of those.. these autos have alot more stuff in there.. stop on by any time scott.. ya know your always welcome.. anyhow i'm pretty happy with it so far..i've got some high expectations on this build and it's looking good as i progress.
