I'd say on the column even though it overshadows the edges of the other guages (anything over 150mph..) Up on the dash you can see it better, but so can't the cops, etc.

Joe...I know you look like now... na..na..na-na...na!

oh yea, Cory whats behind me is an 89 tona es converted to RWD 12 pt cage
dana 60 chopped with a spool and strange axles 4 link rear mustang II front end susp. wildwood Disk brakes all 4 corners, bla bla bla... its my dads project
I convinced him to do . It should be a fun ride when its done. set up for a 440 V8 but I'm gonna see if we can run the 340 sixpack block with the B1 heads that are kickin around for now till the car gets some runs on it. I'm thinking the big block is gonna be to heavy for the front... any how on my build, LWP go nuts port n polish, Ti retainers, Je pistons with tool steel pins
GRP rods, 4 bolt mains, knife edged crank, balanced and blueprinted ARP everything, and on the way soon is the stage 2 cams, adjustible cam gears
hopefully a bigger turbo soon.. the gt35r isn't gonna be enough for what i want..I'm making my own custom intake mani and my exhaust header is almost done too, I've been slacking on the header btw...

So Cory, did you end up going back to your old job? That sounded like a tough decision. As for my stuff, I am kind of glad that I have all the machine work going at once, because it gives me about three weeks to get everything cleaned up and ready for the motor to be put back in. I am having a bunch of bolts cleaned and plated so they look nice and shiney, and I am going to see if they can do my fuel rail and tb just for some extra bling. Waiting will also give me time to get some other stuff done. I just bought two new wheel bearings/front hubs to swap out the old ones that were getting abit noisey. 100k is probably about the time to do that anyways, and I will probably buy some new front struts while everything is apart.

I am out of school all week so I am going to try to get my ic mounted in the nose and figure out how to get the radiator in place. I may have to wait and copy what you do on the radiator though. I am also going to try to swap in the leather seats I got last year for my car if I have the time. And I would also like to get the T3/568 at least sitting under the hood of the glhs. I will have to figure out all the wiring for it later though before it runs. I have plenty to do!

I did decide to take my old job back. For the offer they were making, I couldnt pass it up. It will be more stress, but I was bored at my other job, so I think I kinda need the stress as a motivatior. I look at it this way, yeah, more stress, but more money to spend on the car!
Now that I am putting things back together, I am wishing I had done more cosmetic, but I think it looks ok, and will look even better with an anodized black fuel rail. The only thing I am not happy about with the looks is I should have spent more time cleaning the enigne bay. Its now the dirtest part on the car.
The radiator mounting will be easy, I am going to leave it in its stock place and just run a brace down where the stock intercooler used to be. I need a brace in that area anyway because I cut off the support and dont want my hood to start closing funny even though I think it still has enough support. I am ready to start it. I am waiting untill next weekend to put fluids in and crank it over to get oil pressure and then see if she will start. I hope, HOPE to have my intercooler stuff if not done, atleast very close by the end of this weekend. When I figure out the radiator brace, maybe I can just make you a spare one if you like how mine turns out, then you will have an already vcut piece. I will let you know when I do it.

I cut the brace off the duster and then welded on further back.

My spirit doesnt have the support and the hood doesnt close very well because things are sorta 'bendy" without the brace.
