OK PLEASE TRY NOT TO LAUGH TO HARD BUT, doesn't like everyone around there Not ever swear, not drink and go to bed by 10:00 ? I know, I know..
When I was in the service, there was a guy from that area and he was like Leave it to beaver. Really nice guy but sheltered from life I guess I could say... Anyhow, who knows, I'm real sick of this area already and miss the nice southern Ga. weather.. Its just real expensive around here to live, so Making ok money here would be concidered very well somewhere else
but money would go further somewhere else even though the pay is less. Its just right now I'm kinda stuck here...But as soon as that changes I'm outta here, I just need to pick a spot near a dragstrip. Like across the street from one!! Lower taxes and cheaper insurance would be nice too.

Haha! Thats pretty funny. The reason you hear that is because there is a very high mormon population (very conservative christians). Althought there are still plenty of non-mormons around here that drink and swear etc... I think salt lake valley is a little less than 50% mormon. But dont believe everything you hear, it is mostly false, but also mostly hilarious.

LOL there are plenty of neighborhoods near the drag strip here where you will not have to worry about life being boring....or safe
west valley ftw!
If you move where there is $$$ then be prepared for less fun and more sleeping at 10 PM
On a side note, nobody here goes to sleep at 10, I have only had 2 roomates (out of 10 or so) who did not swear.
I dont think anyone should run around and try to swear in front of a bunch of old ladies. Thats not cool in any part of the country and is not something to bitch over cause you cant do it.
The Track here in utah seems to do a great job of attracting the "rougher" elements of society so it wouldmt be wierd for you there.
BUT if you love the south stay away from here. Great summers but the winter here lame. January never got above freezing temps. At least the winter ends in march.
Now....if you move in and your neighbor brings you a casserole, Look out! the green jello is coming next.

^^Its true, its ALL true! lol But, there are some who do like to partake in a little partying now and then................... Or every weekend! Its a pretty great place to live, and dont let the sterotype fool you, no one goes around trying to force thier beliefs on anyone else. Well, now and then you find somone like that, but not to offten, unless you live in my neigborhood, then your a terrible person because you dont go to church.
And some of the casseroles or WAY good! lol green jello I am not so hip on.

Well, just about finished my first front mount intercooler install. Intercooler was an inexpensive ebay unit that will hopefully be okay for what I need it to do. I ended up fabbing all the brackets out of 1/4" flat steel. Probably a little overkill, but I didn't want the thing bouncing around up there. I still have one more bracket to fab, because after the first three, I noticed I have it about and inch too low on one side so it's not level. Not too big of a deal, but I am wierd like that. So I will get it leveled out before I do the last bracket. I think I might just drop the drivers side bracket to the under side of the radiator support and that should level it out just fine.
The Intercooler
The brackets
This what it looks like from the engine side of the cooler. But the top and bottom brackets on the left, should be on the right side and visa versa.
From the top
From the bottom
And from inside
I wasn't looking forward to doing this, because I have never "fabricated" any thing before, but it was actually a lot easier than I thought and it came out really nice (at least I think so). Didn't really have any special tools to do it. Just a table clamp, drill and drill press, bench grinder, and a hammer. Thats about it. I also fabbed some really nice brackets to mount the radiator in the stock location using the stock mounting holes, but I forgot to take pictures. Just need to get the motor back in the car so I can do all the piping. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

I made a lot of progress with my Spirit last night.... the keys had come up missing several weeks ago and were found last night
Took it for a 2 mile ride and roasted the tires.....
Today at work I cut a duplicate set for it, the Red IROC R/T & the White IROC R/T to be put in a safe place.
