HAHA You're thinking about driving it to Carlisle? For the last three years it's terrentially downpoured on our way there. I'd trailer it and drive it once you get there for sure! 'Tis no fun arriving there with a soaken wet car that has all the dirt in the world on it from passing tractor trailer trucks.

Jackson, this thread is great for detailing tips! I have been looking back over your setup to get ideas for how to clean up under my hood. Is the black thing right behind the radiator your overflow bottle? I remember seeing some pictures of your spirits motor a while back, but now I cant find them. You have any you can post?

Good catch Tyler. It looks like he is using a 2.5 N/a or V6 overflow bottle on the pass. side of the radiator. I have a bunch more pics of it on my site. I can't link direct to it from work, but go to Ralph Scott's Photo Galleries at pbase.com
then open the gallery on the 2nd row down on the far right "Other TIII's". I also have some pics of his Spirt R/T's in the Spirt R/T gallery.

You are right about the detailing tips I tried to detail EVERYTHING in that engine bay. Thats what I want yours to look like As for the coolant bottle, yes, its the one for the TI,N/A,and V6 car. I used the full length radiator so I figured I would finish it off with the correct fan assembly and bottle. The bottle would not come clean at all so I figured satin black would do nicely. Heres the link for my red Spirit at Carlisle in 06,the best it has ever looked.....

I know its ugly as hell
For A/C I have freshly beadblasted and re-sprayed lines and a purty silver compressor thats going in there soon. Dont even ask what I did for the PCV. That engine bay is no where near done BTW. I have a crazy S/S intake pipe I am making that is setup for a NOS snorkel I have to clip into and I have to finish the I/C pipes and tidy up alot of little things. Its never ending

Haha! Thats probably not going to happen. It will be close, but I am sick of cleaning and painting bolts brackets and pulleys! I just want the thing all together and running before the snow falls. It is coming together nicely, but I dont know what the end result will look like. I will have to change a bunch of the vacuum setup and the pcv system to get it looking good, plus the wiring harness needs some attention, but atleast all the stuff that cant be seen is already clean!
