Since I had a day off and it was finally nice and sunny here I got carried away with taking pics of the car I have spent the last two years(off and on,it has pissed me off and I quit for a few months here and there)putting back together. I picked this car up in Florida in the end of 05 and drove it home and pulled it down to nothing. Then got the car painted inside and out with only the back bumper and the fenders still on. It have light grey interior stock but I changed that to black. I looked all over the country for my favorite power enthusiast cloth. I had to go to New York for the seats and door panels I couldnt live with the 8valve so I got a TIII out of a wrecked Spirit for it. Since its a Daytona Shelby I figured a pre-production Shelby cover would do nicely to finish her off Anyhow,I could write a book about this car but I cant really type that fast so I will just get on to the pics, enjoy

Dont worry the car is only like 75% done so it will look alot better by hext spring. More pics comming..........

Here is some underbody pics of the car. The front suspension is alomst done. I plated the bottom of the k-frame and had it powdercoated. I actually had almost everthing that couls be unbolted powdercoated. I have to do the rear this winter and I am also getting the floor painted with PRB base clear.....

That is sharp!

I hope to get either my omni or lebaron to that kind of state of restoration.

How long did the process take??

Well I have a NOS Mopar one and a FWD black aluminum one(that gets held on by S/S buttom head allens of course) but they hold in so much heat that willl only go on for pics(oops) and shows

That part is super sweet! That two posted thing is actually a battery shut-off switch mounted upside-down so I had positive battery posts to run all the contant 12V stuff off of. Then I just ran 4 gauge wire(JL multi-stranded)from the battery in the hatch area to the one side of the post and all the stock 12V wires to the other. The main thing is dont forget to put at least a 4 gauge ground from the motor to the chassis. That shut-off switch is cool to cause you can just fit your hand up inside the inner fender to pull out the little "key"

I wish I kept track of how many hours I had in it. It really didnt take that long for what all I did cause I did that same thing to my black 87 Z a few years earlier. I am pretty good at these G-bodies lately which is good cause I got 3 more to go all the way down and back together again. I think I got some other pics from thoughout the process. I will post them shortly.....
