Does anyone have the part number from the sticker on their 92 ECU? I may have found a 92 ECU at a junkyard but I need that number to verify. Thanks!

I got those same numbers through Engine Control Units Direct. It'd be curious to know why there are 4 different part #s for the same engine computer...

Possibly different variations, i.e. Federal, Hi-Altitude, Canadian or were superceded for some reason?

Thats one for a 93. Get it,as that one seems to have just a touch more aggresive spark curves than the 92 TIII unit. It will work just fine as I have one in my 92 Iroc R/T

One question, since that's a Daytona ECU is the vehicle theft alarm part of the ECU? I'd hate to get this thing and find out that it needs to interface with the Daytona VTA in order to start... Does anyone have a 92 Spirit R/T and a 93 Daytona R/T that they could swap ECU's to verify it will work?

It works if the alarm is disabled from the computer.

Can't remember how to do it because I don't have daytona. My memory says when the car is running remove alarm box what is located inside glovebox and alarm is then disabled is sbec, or so

if the car has the VTSS, you must remove the module in the glovebox while the car is running then its good to use in any car.

I looked it up in the FSM and it looks pretty easy. If the ECU won't start the engine, I'll have to find someone with a Daytona with VTA to disable it. Yay.......
