I am in the process of rebuilding my 93 Iroc R/T. Another engine would be really useful for me. I would prefer a GOOD engine, but at the very least a good rebuildable engine. Any takers.....$$$$

why wouldn't your engine be rebuildable? or is it just missing a bunch of stuff?

Is there anything in particular wrong with the motor? If you're not sure, I could possibly drive up there some weekend in the future and take a look at it...

No its a GOOD rebuild, I just would like to have a spare engine around. It would serve useful, especially if something catastrophic happens to my engine.

I was also thinking of possibly using the other engine to rebuild instead to save on machining costs.

What actually happened to the engine was that I did a full rebuild and in my carelessness in the rebuilding I left steel wool (used in cleaning the head surface) in the engine and the oil pick-up tube got clogged with it. A classic rookie engine builder mistake.

Sometime next week after Thanksgiving I plan to examine the overall damage of the engine. I'm praying that I only have to slap new bearing in and call it good.
