can anyone name this part

i was driving my spirit r/t yesterday and i felt something hit my leg, i looked down and this part was laying on the floor.


my camera sucks so the pics aren't the greatest. it fell out from under the driver side of the dash, anyone know what it is or if it is anything important. everything looks to be working fine and upon a quick inspection i didn't see anywhere where it could have been connected.

Im pretty sure it plugs into the back of the instrument cluster

yes, belongs to the cluster but i don't know its purpose

All I can think of is it's part of the cluster from the terminal connectors on it. Have any of your guages or odometer stopped working?

Definitely part of the gauge cluster. The FSM shows where it is but doesn't tell what it does. Hit any big bumps lately?

i hate it when stuff just falls off...last week i hit a pothole and my rearveiw took a dive lol penndott sucks... they fill a pothole in with a mountain so either way its trying to tear your wheel off

i'll have to pull the cluster and see if anything is missing. thats why i had no idea what it was cause nothing stopped working to my knowledge

I lost one of the clips for the drivers side a/c vent once in my dash, and over a year later it fell out on my leg for no reason! I guess thats what makes these cars fun!

a men....a men... I think penndot makes stuff worse sometimes. Right down the road from me there was a small pot hole. they filled it in with some new asphalt... but they made a small (geussing) 6"x6"x3"(deep) pothole into a 20"x20"x4"(tall) patch of asphalt....now i CANT avoid it when i go down the road....

back on topic, were's NAJ at... hes always a huge help in the electrical department...

Wasn't it fastened?
