+1 I have re-used 2 of them now with no problems yet. Just make sure you clean any oil off before you spray it. Good luck

The last time I used brake clean it took the Viton off the gasket.. Id personally just wipe it off real good with a clean rag and brake clean the block and head. The spray the gasket with copper spray.

The viton gets messed up anyways though...Thats why I coppersprayed my reinstall. Of course now, I would never install a cometic without copper spray regardless of what cometic says.

Exactly,The first one I did I didnt use any and it leaked a little coolant. Of course I didnt have the block decked so it wasnt totally flat. But,from now on I will be copper spraying anyone I do from now on new or used.

The viton between the layers on mine was all messed up, so I ended up drilling out the rivits, cleaning everything between each layer, copper sprayed between each layer and reinstalling it. It worked just fine up to about the 320 whp level, but when I turned the wick up a bit more, it spit some coolant (at about the 350 whp level). At that point, I called it a day. I've driven the car for about 1000 miles since and it's been fine, but I have had the boost low for the street.

It's getting a fresh HG before the next track outing.
