I'm gonna take a stab at this.The TC guy may jump all over me ,but here goes.The 16v has a masi specific forged crank and the Chrysler turbo is a T2 so I would speculate that it is forged also.I have one also but I haven't dissassembled it yet (next project).

All TII, TIII, TIV, and Maserati 16v's crank are forged.

thank you. i was fairly certain but searching for tc of course doesn't work. shoulda though about using maserati. again, thanks.

that being the case i may soon have a crank for my tIII and it'll be back on the road soon!

Yeah..the Masi 16V cranks weigh 53#'s!! I'd stay away from that one IMHO...

Yes, the masi crank is HEEEAAAAAVVVVYYYYYYY. It's the heaviest of all dodge crankshafts and it also forged. I would stay away. I know someone that tried to get one knife edged(to cut back on the weight some)from a company that does Knife edging, they sent it back and said it ate up all their bits! They couldn't do it.

hah. well it turns out that the engine thats coming out of the tc is a T2, at least thats how i'm understanding it.
