Uh, actually. If everything is working right. It should be 55psi with the vac line off at idle. If its not within about 3-4psi of that. Somthing is not quite right. Otherwise whats the point of an adjustable one? You just throw it on there and let it run whatever the thing puts out?

Hey Jermey, have you registered you spirit RT in the RT registry? If not, and you have a couple min. A pic and a write up on the car would be awesome!
Official TD SPiRiT R/T & IROC R/T Registry

Please keep us updated on your problem as well.

well since its not adjustable it should only put out the correct amount within a few lbs. if the reg is bad, usually youll know it pretty quick

Being adjustable or not is not the question.... The question was how much it should be stock. How do you know he didnt put an adjustable one on and wants to know what the correct pressure should be? And, if you were not getting on it all the time. You may not notice a fpr thats going bad untill it leans out enough you blow the motor under boost. The computer compensates for some fuel under cruise with the o2 sensor, so at lower fuel pressure, its possible for the car to run fine. But, then you stomp on it, and because of the base fuel pressure setting being to low you dont have enough fuel pressure for a given boost and you melt somthing. The computer bases everything on the correct base fuel pressure and ignores the o2 under boost.

i assumed that he was working with a stock regulator, since he did not express any mods or his adjustable regulator or anything else and it says stock R/T. i like generic answers, straight and to the point

lol No war. Just wanted you to have the total correct info! Was that 49 with the vac line connected to the fpr or not? Please, keep us updated.
