summit and jegs and all of those companies are not a TD vendor so that explains why you got the parts fast

There is no difference in shipping a TD parts then shipping a 72 Charger parts, The problem isnt the parts, its the one who ship them.

I used the FWDP rail but got all the hose/line/fittings from Summit (Summit brand). Works great and had everything pretty fast except I had to wait for the AN flare tool to come in stock.

Shipping... Summit and Jegs etc. have departments and employees getting paid only to deal with picking, packing, and shipping your Items. They have warehouses set up to deal with the volume of items they ship every day. When I think of TD vendors, I picture a kitchen table with some old boxes, newspapers, and a roll of packing tape.

Even more reason to give them the business. Family run businesses are few and far between where I live...

I wasn't trying to put anybody down...

Only point out there is an adjustment period where you realize you're not dealing with what you have grown to expect. Its like dealing with Ebay or another board member - you just have to hope they ship it by the time you need it. Someplace like Summit, you go to the website and click to order your stuff and 2 days later you have it in your hand... In this world, You need to call the place to see if they even have the stuff thats on their website in stock and then figure they only make a run to the post office once a week to save on gas... And then you need to adjust what you consider "reasonable shipping cost". Hell, I gave Chris $8 just to send me some 804's that took 2 weeks to get to me. At Newegg.com, $8 gets me 50lbs of computer parts to my door in 2 days.

Its quite a different world... You just need to adjust

Quite a different world indeed. If you want parts fast get a camaro or a mustang. otherwise stick with a td and shaddup and like it! lol

I do think that td vendors do a ton for us and they do their best with what they got, I am def not a nut hugger and would love to see the phones picked up a bit more and the orders go out a bit smoother too, but hey the world ain't perfect.

Actually, Cindy called me and told me herself it was her mistake. Otherwise I would've had it as promised. It looks like it's going to get here in time for me to install it before I head to Carlisle...
