What I meant was that unlike what some were trying to say on here, to get used to waiting for parts for our TDs, this was a part that I would normally get quickly. But she made a mistake and the part didn't get shipped as quickly as she had promised.
Which was my whole point to begin with. I wasn't ordering a TIII part. I was ordering a cat, generic for a 2.5" exhaust. Why should I expect to wait a long time for that?
Anyway, I'm done with the issue. I might give the wrong impression to potential sellers and no one will want to sell to me...

unless you are picking up i cant compete and get parts out to anyone faster than 2-3 day service, the post office just wont let me drive their trucks or ring up my own packages and ship them

I live 6 hours from FWD, or less depending on your driving habits It is awesome they are so close. Whenever I get all my mods together I'm going to have them do everything if they actually have people do that kind of stuff.

You know there are probably 1/2 dozen varieties of Magnaflo mufflers. You can't expect everything to be in stock and ready to ship the minute you order. I waited months for my FWDP fuel rail....didn't bother me. I knew it would take a while because I special ordered it anodized black, but I also knew that after spending thousands of dollars over the course of many years that FWDP would not screw me around. Sure you might have gotten the parts faster from Summit or Jegs but FWDP offers a stuff like this as a convenience so you can get it all in one stop.
Anyways weren't you guys talking about fuel rails?

Yes, so whats up with these fuel rail?!
Ok, i called FWDP few days ago and they are back order, she expect having some in 2 week or so.
But my original qestion: are they good (design and machining) ?
Im also tinkering with the idea of machining one myself.
Only thing is that im not sure about the design, there is a kind of deflector inside probably to ensure equal flow to each injector under all driving condition??

I have two of the TIII rails from FWDP. They have updated the design over time so the ones they have now or in the future may be slightly different than what I have. I have been running one of them in my Spirit R/T and the other is for my 2.5L TIII Shelby Lancer project.
As far as the inside of the rail, it is just hollow with no deflector of any kind. I've run my car back-to-back with it and the stock rail for comparison and found no difference in the way the car ran. I wanted it for my cars because I was also installing 3/8" hard line and -6AN hose in place of the stock plumbing and the aftermarket rail makes this a lot easier. Plus it looks a lot nicer than the stock rail especially since it's the first thing you see when you pop the hood.
Here are some pics:

My only complaint about the rail as been about the brackets. They were made just slightly too wide so I had to file them to fit the recess in the rail so they would fit. No biggie and not noticeable once installed.

I called TU yesterday about getting a TII two piece intake manifold fuel rail. He has both the TII/TIII rails in stock. They are actually the same rail and will work in both applications. The only difference is the brackets. I think he's at Chryslers@Carlisle this weekend so shipping probably wouldn't happen until after the weekend. Pat Culkin is running one in his car and he likes it alot.

That's actually one of the things that has been updated in their design. I sent that rail back because of a bracket issue and they sent me a replacement that is identical except the FPR is now located on the other end. Works just as well, but I had to trim my return hose shorter of course. Another thing that is different about the newer FWDP rails is the FPR reciever cup. Originally it was TIG'd to the rail, but the newer ones use a screw-in cup with an O-ring to seal.

I have one of TU's rails. And they are very nice looking. Havent put it in yet, and Chirs did say I would have to "modify" it make it work.

In the pic is also the adapter you need if you want to rail mount your FPR.

Is the rail for more flow?
The rail looks nice.
That adapter is just f'ugly as hell.

They flow more, plus you can set them up to flow in one side of the rail, and out the oposite end. Unlike the stock one which uses some kind of weird baffle in the rail to even out pressure to all the injectors. I am going to have mine anodized black, both the rail and the adapter. And, the adapter is mostly covered by the fpr, so you wont see all of it anyway.
