I think my oil pump is out stuck at work:(

The oil gauge just dropped and my check gauge light is on.The lifters are really loud and I took off the valve covers off started the car and there is no oil spraying.I changed the oil about 2 months ago and now its really thin but dont any gas or coolant in the oil but it really thin please help me out do you think that the oil being broke down and thin thats way it not building pressure?

sounds depressing...don't know that I'd even start it the way it is, probably be a good idea to remove the oil pan (easy) and check out the lunched oil pump.

Thanks turbomini but i think my dad is coming to get me if not I have to fix the oil pump tonight after i get done with my 12 hour shift I cant wait to drive this car once i get all the bugs worked out

Okay It's the oil pump and the intermediate shaft gears are stripped

My oil shaft was missed up and my oil pump gear was missed up too

Looks familiar; I have 2 sets of those pumps and shafts worn like that. Take a really good long hard look at the intermediate shaft bearings. Chances are they are very worn and need replacing. Pay special attention to the 8-12 o'clock position of the large bearing for wear. Use a mirror or something to get a real good look at the smaller bearing as well.
