I thought I'd share. I still need a few little pieces but now I don't have to push it around the yard.

It was going to be a 8V car but long story short I ended up getting it back and I picked up a complete 16v drivetrain from some friends in Jacksonville.

thanks! overall the car needs a LOT of work to be nice. It's not a "Jackson" engine bay but it looks much better than it did. I just don't have the time I used to to work on these cars anymore.

Heres a pic from last summer:

LOL....those parts look stragely familiar! hmmmmm....LOL

Glad to see them being put to good use. Make sure that engine does well...I have some very fond memories of the car that engine used to be in. At one time it put down 256hp to the wheels of the origional car!

O that "Jackson" quality is too over-rated Glad to see you saved that one and put it back to TIII status. Saving one of those is like saving a Hemi Cuda convertable in my eyes I may have to save a twin to that one here in a few months(drivetrainless red 92 with dark grey leather)
Just keep on finding good parts and then get her painted and you should have a nice car in the long run

So far the oil leaks are gone . I replaced the oil pan gasket and removed the front & rear crank seals as well as the intermediate shaft seal retainers, replaced the seals and re-installed them with anaerobic sealer...eliminating the gobs of black RTV.

I also installed a new set of intermediate shaft bushings, the outer bushing was looking like it was on its way out....

I did a small burnout in the street to let the neighbors know it was no longer a lawn ornament

Just lmk what you have... I know the drivers door cladding and the rocker cladding are broke. I really haven't looked at the rest of the car.
