Blue Iroc R/T pics

I was doing a little fall cleaning in my shop today and realized that I never got any good pics of my blue Iroc R/T I picked up earlier this year. I hosed the dust off of her and snapped a few. This car(when I get time) will get better treatment than my red 91 got in its resro. I have been slowly collecting mint parts for her and will tear her apart for a full rotisserie(sp?) resto in the near future. The car was a southern car most of its life so its got a 98% chassis to start with. The best of all is its 1 of the only 2 remaining with the factory sunroof option and the only one that had that and light grey power cloth. Heres what it looks like now......

SWEET car ... those last daytonas finally had all the styling together IMO, U can barely see the '84 lines still hidden there ; Great color too !

Ha! Well,it came stock with grey cloth but it was so nasty from sitting with a window broke out of it and being neglected I threw most of it out. I had a near mint set of black leather so I had to put that in until I can find a good enough set of seats and door panels to make it cloth again.

What window was broken? I have two driver's side door windows I need to sell off.

The car had a dealer re-paint back in 94 after it got a light tap on the drivers side corner. I can just tell it happened but most would never be able to see it. These pics make the car look amazing,in real life it looks horrible. My buddy that does my painting is amazing and has cars in magazines. He painted my red 91 Shelby last spring and those of you that saw it in person I think would agree he pretty good at what he does. That was a practice car for this one and said if the average joe came into his shop it would of been a 5k+ paint job. He will be doing this one as well for me. I am building a rotisserie for him to use on all his cars for his body shop so I will be getting the hook up for this one for sure. I think im actually gonna mix this with a little more black in the mix to darken it up some from the stock PC3 Bonzai Blue. This one already looks darker than Ralphs blue one and a blue 92 Iroc parts car I ahve here as well and I really like it so we are gonna try to match that color. I gaurantee it will look breathtaking in the end

The car does look better then it did that day. I'll dig up the pics I have and post them up for some comparsion(remember it was seating in a feild for some years before being loaded onto the trailer though lol).

Did you throw in a completely different drivetrain or just throw some fresh parts on it? No way those valve covers and intake cleaned up that damn nicely lol.
