I just got back from Sevierville, TN. Here is my new ride. It's a 1991 R/T. I've always liked the cars and even considered buying one locally 2 months ago. I came across this car by chance last Friday. My friend from Memphis and I stopped to get gas in Sevierville on the way to SDAC-13 in MD last Friday. This guy pulls in and knows what the GLHS on the trailer is. One thing led to another and we went to check the Spirit R/T out since he only live 3 miles down the road.

I'm going to put the car together after Frankenstein2.2 is finished. I know very little about these 16 valve engines. I guess it's time to learn. Putting together a car that you didn't take apart is a scary thought.

Here are some pictures:

Looks like a very nice car in the pictures. As long as all the stuff is there it actually looks like a steal. Very low mileage too. Let us know if you find any disasters with the existing parts. I think you done REAL good on this one.:big grin:

Here are some more pictures. It cleans up rather nicely. It needs new tires as you can see in the last picture. Luckily, they hold air long enough to get the car on and off of the trailer. The car has 66,636 original miles. I believe that is correct because the body is in excellent shape. The interior looks brand new. I think the mold and mildew actually protected the paint because it looks nice too.

Awesome car Kevin!

Looks just like mine!! "thumbs up

I finally got all my parts back from the machine shop and plan on putting my T3 back together within the next few weeks. Mine was parked from it's previous owner thinking that filling the balance shaft oil feed hole with epoxy would hold! Needless to say it lost oil pressure and wiped out the bottom end. <-Sad part is this guy had just spent thousands on rebuilding this engine as well as having the exhaust and intake port matched and had the head fully ported!

I can't wait to get my Shelby Charger done so I can start on this car. For some reason, I can't get the idea of the 16 valve Spirit R/T motor in my Shelby Charger out of my mind.
hmmmmmm....this could get....interesting
