The number to SPX is 800-345-2233.

I bought mine off the tool truck. It took about a week to get it.

20 minutes WOW

how tight are u making that belt?? lol

ive roasted 2 shafts in my motor as well....on #3 and this one seems to be holding, it hasnt skipped teeth yet. what year I shaft/pump r u using?? are they the high volume ones????

uumm dontk now what else to tell ya....20 minutes just seems way too fast even if the belt was overtightened. maybe the machining was sloppy n the bushings are seating tight?

You said AFTER your rebuild, and then, it STILL ground the teeth off. You didn't specify, but does that mean it also happened BEFORE the rebuild? If so, how long had it been driving like that before the gear failed? If it happened before the rebuild, then you can rule out the machining for the bushings as the culprit. If it doesn't turn out to be belt tension I'm curious what else it could be.

yes it did happen once before, right after i rebuilt it the first time. im not sure how long it ran, cuz i was triing to get it to run right, but when i fixed the problem probly like 2 mi. it was probly about the same amount of time though. i guess it could be the tension, i dont have a gauge
