Custom pistons for hybrid project

I think I read someone's post saying they were having some custom pistons made up for their hybrid project and that there were a few other people purchasing them too. Can I get in on this? I think someone else also mentioned that FM is having some pistons made for this application. Or should I just use T3 pistons since they're readily available? I'm not sure where my compression would be then though. I guess I'm just looking for any input you guys can give me on forged pistons for this project.

Thanks!

I e-mailed FM but haven't gotten a reply. Any idea how much they run?

How can you order a custom piston if you have no clue what compression you are running?

You could calculate it if you are good at math and know all the variables of your engine.

Also, FWDPerformance has Venolias in a variety oversize bores.

I would rely on a company like FM to do the calculations for me.

Do they include rings with that price?

I know I've posted this before, and don't really want to make this an advertisement outside of the forsale forum, but I have a set of brand new stock bore Mahle cast pistons for the Mexican 2.4 turbo motor. These take the same rings as the standard 2.2/2.5l SOHC turbo Mahle pistons, and use the same wrist pin and clips as well.

These would work perfectly for a Neon headed hybrid 2.5 and since the pistons are already properly relieved for the 4 valves per cylinder would make for a non-interference motor when assembled. Anyway email or pm me if interested.
