that is a clutch saftey switch, neutral saftey switches exsist on automatic trannys. well, if those cars have a clutch saftey switch and yours is bypassed, you may wanna check the wiring at the switch and see, make sure its still connected, but you also gotta be able to check further down the line then too, not just look under there and say ah, it looks good, i dont know what could be wrong. if you really wanna fix it, you gotta get proactive and start checking things related to the starting system or just keep waiting for the R/T repair elves to show up in the middle of the night and fix it for you while you catch up on your beauty sleep bro.
