It's that time to sell my 91 spirit... I'm getting it ready and have gave it a well needed wash after I fixed the idle issue and it looks better that expected.. it still needs paint but it's not at all noticeable from a-far and there is no rust at all it was dirt on the top of the car
and due to work I have not been able to do much to it.. I'm off work for the week and need to get the safety inspection and the temp gauge working again
The issues now are the horn doesn't work (needed for safety inspection) when you hit the button you hear a click, I'm going to hotwire it to see if it works but does anyone have a wiring diagram of it? (I'm an electrical retard)
the temp gauge does not work at all.. doesn't move when the car is turned on or started/driven at all.. I assume it's the temp sensor. it's not throwing a code and that has me confused the thermostat opens and it flows but the gauge doesn't work. any ideas?
after I get it on the road I'm going to list at 4000$ on craigslist and let them haggle me down to 3500$ for it if they do. I think that's a fair price for the mods done to it.
Stage 2 calibration
40% bigger injectors
new fuel pump and fuel sending unit(less than 500 miles)
new gas tank(less than 500 miles.. )
balanced crankshaft
new pistons and turbo (2k miles on them)
new oil pump and cyro intermediate shaft(less than 500 miles)
new timing belt(less than 500 miles)
new o2 sensor
jacksons mod ect...
I think letting it go for 3500 - 4000$ is fair because all it needs is paint. and a 40$ repo grille. let me know what you guys think.
